Velóce

Developed during the Covid lockdown of 2020, the Veloce (pronounced ve-law-che) by Lightning Karts is the latest development in Dirt Karts from the Lightning factory. It has been fully developed and then tested over 6 months during and after the lockdown, it’s been designed to be faster and handle better on a wet track without sacrificing any of the dry track performance that Lightning Karts are known for.
It features a raised front, with added caster to transfer more weight and grip to the track. This helps it drive off corners better in low grip conditions, and turns well under all conditions.
The Veloce is designed to handle similarly to the Lightning Terrino, but with better cornering and drive, so will feel familiar to Terrino drivers. It’s compatible with all Terrino components, the chassis is customisable to suit you in wheelbase, tube diameter and design, and can be customised to suit your driving style.

Adjustable Pedal Position
Quick adjustment of pedal postion allows for a comfortable driving position for drivers of most sizes.
Six Point Camber/Caster Adjustment
Multiple setup options to dial in front end handling. With adjustment on both Top and Bottom, most Camber/Caster setting can be achieved without sacrifice.
Optional Torsion Bar
Option for torsion bar to add an extra adjustment parameter for front chassis stiffness.
Made from 4130 German Chromoly
Using only the highest quality materials, Lightning Chassis have proven to last the test of time.
Adjustable wheelbase
The adjustable wheel base allows change from 1040mm to 1025mm. Smaller changes are possible with the purchase of Lightnings 2, 4 or 6mm offset Bearing Hangers
Height Adjustable Front and Rear
With hight adjustment in both the front and rear, chassis balance preferences between driving styles can be found, or can be used for additional setup options between track surfaces or classes
